Research Area: 
  • To understand the convergence between India and Eurasia plates and to assess future seismic risk in the western Himalaya
  • Study of inter-seismic, co-seismic and post-seismic crustal deformation using satellite geodesy (GPS).
  • Measurement and modeling of geodynamical phenomena, such as strain rate distribution, litho-tectono-dynamics and rheology of the earthquake prone regions of India and Antarctica.
