IIG–ISRO Space Weather Summer School (II-SWSS)
About the School
The Space Weather Summer School, will be organized in joint collaboration by the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism, Navi Mumbai, and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). This is a focused training program designed for Master’s students in Physics across India.
It introduces participants to the fundamentals and emerging challenges of solar–terrestrial physics and space weather through expert-led lectures and interactive sessions. With hands-on workshops using real space weather data, the program blends theory with practical experience, offering a unique platform to explore the connection between fundamental science and modern space applications.
Applications are invited from interested Master’s students (in Physics) across India. A letter of recommendation from the department head/Teacher is required. Selected participants (limited to 50) will receive travel support (Sleeper class train fare or equivalent), Free lodging and boarding.
