About the Venue
The 7th URSI Regional Conference on Radio Science 2026 (URSI-RCRS 2026) will be hosted at the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism (IIG), New Panvel, an autonomous research institute under the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.

How to Reach the Venue

By Air
• Navi Mumbai International Airport (Airport code: NMI) is the nearest airport, located approximately 5 km from the venue.Taxis and app-based cab services are available, and travel time is about 15–20 minutes.
• Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Airport code: BOM) is about 55 km from the venue with travel time around 1.5–2 hours.
(Note: Airport shuttle buses are not available to reach IIG and Taxis are the only mode of transport available from both the Airports)
By Train
Mumbai is served by several major railway stations like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai Central (MMCT), Bandra Terminus (BDTS), Dadar-Western (DDR), Dadar-Central (DR), Kalyan Junction (KYN), Panvel Junction (PNVL) etc. Among them, Panvel Junction is the nearest major railway station and is well connected with various parts of India by direct train. The institute is about 3 km from Panvel station and can be reached by auto-rickshaw or taxi within 20 minutes.
By Road
IIG is strategically located at Kalamboli Junction Bus Stop which lies in the crossroads of Mumbai–Pune Expressway, NH-48, and Sion–Panvel Highway. Participants can comfortably reach the venue by buses, private vehicles or taxis. Parking facilities will be available on campus.
Local Transport
Taxis and auto-rickshaws through app-based aggregators such as Ola, Uber and Rapido are easily available and instantly available round the clock in Panvel and Navi Mumbai for last-mile connectivity
