On the occasion of International Mother Language Day on February 23, 2026, the Indian Institute of Geomagnetism organized a lecture by Dr. Sunil Deodhar on the topic "Bhasha Sahodari Hindi" (Hindi: The Sister Language). Additionally, the 35th issue (marking the Silver Jubilee year) of the Institute's in-house magazine, 'Spandan', was released.
