Indian Institute of Geomagnetism organized one-day curtain raiser program at New Panvel, Navi Mumbai on 26 December 2023 as a part of IISF 2023 is going to be held at DBT THSTI - RCB Campus, Faridabad on 17-20 January 2024. Over 100 students from different college and schools participated in this program. Prof. Dibyendu Chakrabarty, Physical Research Laboratory, Ahmedabad gave a popular talk on “Understanding Sun, solar wind, and space weather through Aditya Solar wind Particle EXperiment (ASPEX) on-board Aditya L1 mission”. Another talk was given by Ph.D student Ms. Amrutha on “Understanding Models: Types and Applications”.  Other activities Scientific poster sessions, live solar observations, Lab visits, Audio/Video shows were arranged as a part of this public outreach event.
