Indian Institute of Geomagnetism celebrated World Environment Day with cleanliness drive and tree plantation in and around IIG campuses on 6th June 2022. Regional Centers and magnetic observatories of IIG have participated actively in this celebration. Prof. V. S. Kale, Former Professor and Head, Department of Geography, SP Pune University delivered a lecture on ‘Climate Change: Present, Past and Future’ on 7th June 2022 at IIG.  The lecture was followed by tree plantation in IIG Panvel campus.
